(詳細はUEFA Women's Euro 2013, an international football tournament held in Sweden from 10 July until 28 July 2013. The 12 national teams involved in the tournament were required to register a squad of 23 players; only players in these squads were eligible to take part in the tournament. Before announcing their final squad for the tournament, teams were required to name a preliminary squad of 40 players by 10 June 2013, 30 days before the start of the tournament. The preliminary squad would then have to be cut to a final 23, three of which had to be goalkeepers, by 30 June 2013 (midnight CET). Replacement of seriously injured players is permitted until immediately before the team in question's first game, though replacement players must be drawn from the preliminary squad of 40. The squads were published on 3 July 2013, with Russia being the only national squad made up entirely of players from home-based clubs, while Iceland named the most foreign-based players with 13. Players marked (c) were named as captain for their national squad.
